Opens a dialog to specify an OLE DB provider and parameters to open a new connection. More...

Opens a dialog to create a new file for a file database like .mdb, .xls, .dbf etc. More...

Open...

Opens a database file. This includes file database files and connection files (.conn) as well. More...

Close

Closes the selected connection.

Save

Saves the changes (of the connection's title) to the connection file.

Save as...

Opens a dialog to modify the connection parameters and saves these parameters to a connection file. The changes will not affect the current connection.

Refresh

Refreshes the display of the current connection/catalog in the Connections window.

Forward to Access...

Forwards a Jet database file to the appropriate version of Access. More...

Backup/Compact...

Makes a backup and compacts a Jet (esp. Access) database file. More...

Properties...

Displays the ADO properties of the current connection. More...

Quit

Say good-bye to the guy.

The window Connections is fenced by the main window. It may be minimized or maximized and it will be shown in the list of and handled by the commands of the menu Windows.

The window Connections can be moved freely around the desktop. It will always be on top of the main window.

Shows/hides the toolbar.

Quick Launch

Using this command you may add/remove a link to blueshell Data Guy  to/from Window's Quick Launch bar. To make this toolbar visible right-click anywhere on the taskbar, point to Toolbars, and then click Quick Launch. Note that this command is only available if you have the Windows Scripting Host and Quick Launch installed, which are common on all newer systems.

Professional

Turns on/off professional view. More...

Tile Vertical

Tiles the windows vertically.

Tile Horizontal

Tiles the windows horizontally.

Cascades the windows.
